Saab Australia Year 12 Scholarship at Comet Bay College
The Saab Australia Scholarship is awarded annually to support high-achieving Year 12 students at Comet Bay College, with a particular focus on those who demonstrate exceptional talent in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) subjects.
This scholarship provides financial assistance by covering the cost of Year 12 school fees and booklist items, up to the value of $1,000. It aims to recognise academic excellence, encourage future innovation, and ease the financial burden in a student’s final year of schooling.
Recipients are selected from our top-performing students, based on academic merit and potential, with a strong emphasis on success and passion in STEM-related learning areas.

Department of Education Scholarships
The Department of Education is committed to helping children succeed in school. As part of this commitment, they coordinate a number of financial scholarships, grants and prizes for young people in secondary school so they can focus on achieving their education goals.
Applications for most of their scholarships open in mid-October each year and close in the second week of December. The selection process starts in February of the following year and finishes in April. Families are informed of the outcome of their application soon after this.
